Frame light barriers are based on the operating principle of the through beam sensors. The opposite sides include a great number of incorporated transmitters
and receivers, which form a light curtain. Di-soric frame light barriers detect metallic and non-metallic parts. They are used as pulse generators wherever
very small parts have to be detected outside a guide assembly. A typical application is the ejection checking of punching machines or presses in terms of tool
protection, and for counting jobs.
Di-soric frame light barriers of the new generation operate with microcontroller technology. This has made it possible to achieve
a high level of parasitic light immunity. The frame light barriers can be switched over to dynamic or static operation. In addition, the units feature sensitivity setting
facility, adjustable pulse stretching and an NO/ NC selector switch.
