The Di-soric label sensors allow even transparent labels to be detected reliably. Other possible fields of application include double-layer checking, bonding point detection and crack detection. The material to be detected (e.g. labels on
a carrier tape) is guided through the slot of the label sensor. The optimized shape of the detection slot’s entry surfaces guarantees reliable material guidance. Because the depth of the sensor’s slot is greater than the active sensor zone, it is possible
to insert the label tape to various depths in the detection slot.
This means that the best suited label edge always enters the active sensor zone. It is also possible to reliably detect asymmetrical labels with the system. Operation is
user-friendly and is performed with two Teach-In keys. The Teach-In keys are used first to learn the carrier material on its own and then the carrier material together with the label. The values are saved and are not lost even in the case of a power failure.
