The measuring Di-soric light curtain OLG... scans the
dimensions of variously shaped objects in a non-contact
manner. Measurement can be carried out in a static and
dynamic manner on moving objects. A complete light
curtain
system consists of transmitter, receiver and
amplifier (evaluating electronics). A light curtain system
uses up to 64 measuring beams. The number of
measuring beams, interrupted by the object to be
measured, is evaluated. The output signal, which is
proportional to the measured dimensions, is directly
displayed at the amplifier in millimeters. It is available as
a digital BCD code (24 Volt) and as a linear analog signal
(0 -10 Volt or 4 - 20 mA, adjustable by means of
jumpers).
