Di-soric ring light barriers have been designed for
monitoring the material flow of small parts, such as
screws and bolts, springs, plastic components, etc. in
transparent feed hoses, to be used in assembly and feed
robots. Detection of parts within the ring is even possible
without
feed hose. The units consist of an amplifier and
the probe. Several light barriers integrated in the probe
form a light curtain (light corridor) within the ring, and
detect metallic and non-metallic small parts of min. 1 mm
size. The probes are available in three ring diameters and
can be operated at choice
with amplifiers using the
dynamic or static evaluation process.
