PANTRONCAB-M SeriesM12 Connection Cable

CAB-M12

CAB-M12 is the M12 branch of the Pantron CAB-M connection-cable family. It is used to connect compatible sensor heads, transmitters, receivers, and compact opto sensors that use an M12 connector. The M12 type is available in straight or right-angle versions, with PVC or PUR jacket options, and standard 3 m and 5 m lengths.

Key Features

  • For connecting sensor heads and compact opto sensors.
  • Available in straight or right-angle designs.
  • M12 cable family for compatible Pantron devices with M12 connector.
  • Open-ended wires at the opposite end for flexible control-panel termination.
  • PVC and PUR jacket options are available.
  • Standard lengths of 3 m and 5 m, with other lengths available on request.

Best Fit Applications

  • Connecting Pantron sensor heads to amplifier or control hardware.
  • Wiring compact opto sensors with M12 connector format into new installations.
  • Choosing straight or angled cable exits where mechanical space is limited.
  • Selecting PVC or PUR jacket types to match plant routing and durability needs.

This page is focused on the M12 product image and the M12 ordering variants from the Pantron CAB-M family page.

Selection Notes

  • Choose straight or right-angle based on the available space at the device connection point.
  • Select PVC or PUR according to the cable-jacket performance needed in the application.
  • Use the 3 m or 5 m standard versions for common cabinet-to-sensor distances.
  • Request special lengths when standard options do not match the installation layout.

The CAB-M12 family is intended to make field wiring cleaner and faster while maintaining flexibility in cable routing and material choice.

Integration Notes

  • Confirm that the connected Pantron device uses the M12 connector format before ordering.
  • Terminate the open-ended wire side according to the device and control schematic.
  • PUR versions are a strong choice where cable durability or flex performance matters more.
  • Use right-angle versions to reduce stress at the connector where installation depth is limited.

This page isolates the M12 product branch even though the manufacturer page also lists the M8 cable family.
