Slimline Transmitters

Pantron SlimLine transmitters are infrared sensors in small, contamination-resistant packages. These transmitters are half of a transmitter/receiver sensing pair and do not require an external amplifier, making them great for applications needing compact installation and easy integration. Two housing formats are available to suit different mounting requirements. The round CLN and CLV versions are ideal for wall mounting or sensor brackets, while the rectangular LLA versions are designed for installation on flat surfaces. The STB high-power variants support long sensing distances up to 40 m.

Series Overview

The compact ST transmitter family is used with Pantron SR receivers to form a complete compact opto sensor system. The transmitter provides the infrared source, while the receiver defines sensing range and switching speed. This architecture supports compact installation without the need for a separate external amplifier.

Available housings include threaded round models in nickel-plated brass or stainless steel and rectangular aluminum versions for flat-surface mounting. This gives machine designers a flexible way to integrate compact optical sensing in packaging, automation, material handling, and other industrial equipment where contamination resistance and installation versatility are important.
