Its rectangular wall-mount housing with lateral beam direction makes it well suited for space-constrained areas, while the receiver design incorporates a built-in preamplifier and daylight compensation to help maintain consistent performance in demanding operating conditions.
The AS range includes transmitter and receiver heads for use with Pantron infrared amplifier series, excluding ISL. Each active sensing channel requires one transmitter and one receiver. AS transmitters are offered in the standard power version, while receiver variants are available with either cable or M8 plug connection for straightforward integration into machine designs.
Its compact rectangular housing supports simple wall mounting and a lateral beam path, making the AS family a practical solution for packaging systems, handling equipment, wash environments, and other applications where reliable detection must be maintained despite dust, moisture, vibration, or limited mounting space.
