The IFB-1 is a universal Pantron interface box used for programming FSI / FSR fork sensors and for connecting supported ISM and ICL amplifiers to a computer through an isolated USB-to-RS232 link. In RS232 mode it is bus-powered, and when 24 VDC is applied it automatically switches into FSI mode for compatible fork light barrier setup.
The IFB-1 is a service and commissioning accessory rather than a permanently installed process controller. It is best used wherever reliable, isolated communication is needed during setup or troubleshooting.
