The SSP family is designed for Pantron infrared photoelectric systems where compact packaging, fast panel installation, and dependable operation are essential. Suitable for all Pantron amplifier series except ISL, these sensor heads combine a 10 mm round plastic body with snap-in mounting, strong resistance to contamination, and easy alignment. The receiver version includes an integrated preamplifier and daylight compensation to support stable performance in demanding industrial environments.
The SSP series includes infrared transmitters and receivers for Pantron photoelectric systems and is suitable for all amplifier families except ISL. Each sensing channel requires one transmitter and one receiver. Transmitters are offered in standard, HP, and ITA versions so the series can be matched to a wide range of sensing distances and application requirements.
Its round plastic snap-in housing is intended for hole mounting in compact machine designs and panels where installation space is limited. The housing material resists petrol, oil, and many solvents, while the snap-in mount is designed for a 13.5 to 14 mm hole diameter with a recommended wall thickness of 1 to 2.5 mm.
