WinConnect software is used as an interface to connect a computer to the the following devices: For FSI-085-X and FSI-145-X. An interface device, part number# IFB-1, is required to make the physical connection from the computer to the FSI device. This device is not included with the adjustable fork and is sold separately.
WinConnect may be used at no cost for owners of Pantron series FSI-085-X and FSI-145-X adjustable fork light barriers. You can read and modify settings and watch device states. Please follow the FSI operating instructions. There is no guarantee for the correctness for the device states displayed by WinConnect. The displays and switching outputs of the FSI device are decisive.
There is no setup program for WinConnect, as it doesn't really need one. Installation is done by simply copying the supplied files. Extract the complete contents of the ZIP-file into a directory of your choice (suggested \Program Files\WinConnect). WinConnect will create a .ini file on the first start for program setting storage purposes. WinConnect will not create entries into your operating system's registry.
Remove the distributed files and the WinConnect.ini file. You may also remove the device settings file you created using WinConnect.
