The EasyLoop D.6 is a virtual loop vehicle detection sensor powered by FMCW (frequency-modulated continuous wave) 60 GHz radar technology. It replaces induction ground loops with an above-ground radar detection field. EasyLoop provides detection for barriers, parking systems, toll stations, and gates, distinguishing vehicles from pedestrians even in rain, fog, snow, and dust. Configuration is done via mobile app, enabling remote setup and troubleshooting.
EasyLoop's above-ground setup at 31.5 in. mounting height, combined with bracket options for pole or direct barrier housing mounting, makes it adaptable to virtually any access control layout.
| Operating principle | FMCW radar — 60 GHz millimetre-wave |
|---|---|
| Protection class | IP66 |
| Detection field (std) | 9.8 ft W × 5.2 ft H × up to 19.6 ft D |
| Detection field (45°) | 13.1 ft × 19.6 ft (W × L) |
| Mounting height | 31.5 in. above ground |
|---|---|
| Mounting options | Pole (side), barrier housing (direct), bracket |
| Detection modes | Activation, presence detection |
| Configuration | Mobile app (sensitivity, range, mode, firmware) |
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Activation | Triggers barrier, gate, or ticketing system when a vehicle (or vehicle and pedestrian, operator-selectable) enters the detection zone; uni- or bi-directional recognition prevents tailgating |
| Presence detection | Safeguards barriers, straight arm, articulated/folding boom, advertising, and fence gate types — prevents accidental closure while a vehicle or obstacle is present |
