UniScan

The UniScan is an active infrared presence detector designed to provide safe door operation wherever people come and go on a daily basis. Its dense detection area delivers the greatest possible protection for all users, including those who move slowly such as small children and the elderly. One touch of a button completes fully automatic adjustment and teach-in, and the slim, elegant design allows installation even where space is at a premium. On swing doors, UniScan monitors both primary and secondary closing edges on both sides of the panel, preventing collisions all around the door.

Installation Notes

Position UniScan to cover the full primary and secondary closing edge zones on both sides of the swing door panel.
Press the teach-in button once after mounting — the detector adjusts and calibrates automatically.
The slim housing fits in locations where conventional presence detectors would not, without compromising detection coverage.
For revolving door installations, confirm detection coverage of all door leaf edges at the relevant sweep radius.
