PrimeScan

PrimeScan is an active infrared safety curtain that protects people in the danger zone of the opening door panel on sliding doors. It ensures reliable protection of the area at the side of the door and the secondary closing edges. Available in two variants — PrimeScan A, which meets EN 16005 and DIN 18650 with self-monitoring, and PrimeScan B, which meets EN 16005 — PrimeScan integrates with PrimeTec and PrimeMotion to form a complete door safety system for sliding door installations.

Installation Notes

Select PrimeScan A where EN 16005 and DIN 18650 compliance with self-monitoring is required.
Select PrimeScan B where EN 16005 compliance is the applicable standard.
PrimeScan is designed to work as part of a complete system alongside PrimeTec (activation and safety) and PrimeMotion (presence detection).
Mount to cover the full lateral danger zone beside the sliding door panel and all secondary closing edges.
