Eddy Current Sensors

Lion Precision eddy-current sensors use electromagnetic induction to measure displacement, position, and vibration of electrically conductive metal targets without contact. Their ECA/ECL driver series and ECD310/ECD360 digital drivers pair with compact probes for operation in oil, coolant, and contaminated environments where capacitive sensors cannot be used. The EDA500 multi-channel controller supports FSM (ferromagnetic material) sensing and differential sensing configurations, with high bandwidth and high resolution for demanding data storage, semiconductor, and industrial metrology applications.
