ISM-1200

1-channel infrared amplifier with selectable manual / automatic operation and analog output. The ISM-1200 expands Pantron's ISM-series platform with selectable manual or automatic operation, 2-step transmit-frequency selection, light / dark switching selection, a floating switching output, analog output, alarm output for power-limit indication, test input, and sensor control. It is intended for long-range through-beam sensing in harsh industrial applications where robust performance and signal feedback are important.

Device Layout and Wiring Notes

Front indicators include power display (green), output status (yellow), intensity display (green), alarm display (red), and sensor error display (red).
Gain is adjusted at the front potentiometer, and Test / Reset is provided by the front button.
Separate terminals are shown for switching output, alarm output, analog output, transmitter, receiver, and test input.
The page-10 diagram also identifies sensor control and amplifier mode selection by 4-fold DIP-switch.
Designed for DIN rail installation in demanding industrial control applications.

Compared with the simpler ISM-1000 and ISM-1100 variants, the ISM-1200 adds selectable manual / automatic operation plus analog-output capability for signal feedback.
