Pantron M12 sensors combine compact form factor, durable threaded metal housing, and strong resistance to contamination for dependable performance in harsh areas. These sensor heads are designed for Pantron photoelectric systems and are suitable for all Pantron amplifier series except ISL. Each sensing channel requires one transmitter and one receiver, with receiver models featuring an integrated preamplifier and daylight compensation to support stable operation under ambient light.
The M12 range includes infrared transmitter and receiver heads for machine builders and plant operators that need a compact cylindrical sensor with robust mechanical construction. Transmitter models are available in standard, high-power, and ITA versions, while receiver models are available with cable, 3-pin M8 circular plug, or 4-pin M12 circular plug options to support flexible system integration.
The externally threaded M12 x 1 housing simplifies mounting, while the all-metal construction helps the sensor stand up to demanding process conditions.
