Label Sensors

Lion Precision label sensors use capacitive sensing technology to detect the presence and absence of individual labels on release liner in labeling machine and packaging applications. The capacitive sensing approach detects label edges reliably on transparent, opaque, foil, and paper labels regardless of label color or print. Label sensors are configured for web speed tracking, label pitch measurement, and dispensing registration, making them a critical component in high-speed label applicators, pressure-sensitive labeling machines, and packaging line label-apply stations.
