The CSN and CSV sensor families are designed for Pantron infrared photoelectric systems where durable construction, dependable signal performance, and compact size are all critical. These sensor heads are offered in nickel-plated brass or stainless steel housings with an external M12 x 1 thread, making them great for demanding machine, process, and automation applications. Receivers include an integrated preamplifier and daylight compensation to support stable operation in challenging conditions.
The CSN and CSV series include infrared transmitters and receivers for all Pantron amplifier families except ISL. Each sensing channel requires one transmitter and one receiver. Transmitters are available in standard, HP, and ITA versions to support different sensing ranges and application requirements.
The metal M12 x 1 threaded housing provides a compact, mechanically secure solution for installations exposed to vibration, dirt, moisture, and demanding ambient conditions. The receiver version incorporates a built-in preamplifier and daylight compensation for reliable optical performance in real-world industrial environments.
