ISM-1220S

1-channel AC-powered infrared amplifier with manual / automatic operation and change-over relay output. The ISM-1220S is a single-channel ISM-series amplifier for long-range through-beam detection in contamination-heavy industrial environments. It combines selectable manual or automatic operation, selectable light / dark switching, two transmit frequencies, power-limit alarm outputs, and a change-over relay output in a DIN-rail package intended for applications that prefer AC supply power.

Key Features

Detection range up to 50 m in through-beam use, depending on transmitter and receiver pairing.
Manual or automatic operation can be selected on the front DIP-switch.

Device Layout and Wiring Notes

Front indicators include power display, intensity display, output status, alarm display, and sensor error display LEDs.
Gain and delay / pulse timing are adjusted from the front panel potentiometers.
A front Test / Reset button supports system checks.
Connection diagram shows AC operating voltage, relay change-over output, alarm / error outputs, transmitter, receiver, and test input.

This model is intended for installations that need AC power input and a more conventional relay interface while keeping the optical performance of the ISM family.
