ISM-2000

2-channel multiplex infrared amplifier for compact multi-beam sensing. The ISM-2000 is a two-channel infrared multiplex amplifier designed for long-range, contamination-resistant optical sensing. It gives each channel selectable manual or automatic operation plus selectable light / dark behaviour, while providing separate floating switching outputs, alarm and error outputs, test input, and sensor control in a narrow DIN-rail package.

The 6-fold DIP-switch splits into three settings for channel 1 and three settings for channel 2, allowing each channel to be configured for operating basis, basic transmit power, and switching behaviour.

Device Layout and Wiring Notes

Front panel includes separate gain, intensity, output-status, and sensor-error indicators for each channel.
Channel 1 and channel 2 each have their own adjustable potentiometer for gain setting.
The connection diagram shows separate outputs for both channels plus dedicated error and alarm outputs.
One test input is provided for system check at 24 VDC / 2 mA.

The ISM-2000 is a practical choice when two independent through-beam paths must be managed without moving to the display-based 4-channel and 8-channel models.
