ISM-4000
4-channel multiplex infrared amplifier with display, analog output, and PC software support. ISM-4000 is a four-channel infrared multiplexer for long-range industrial sensing in difficult environments. It adds menu-driven setup through the front display or PC software, analog output, primary / secondary capability, alarm and error outputs, and configurable switching delay, making it a stronger fit for more complex systems than the smaller DIP-switch-driven models.

Unlike the smaller ISM amplifiers, the ISM-4000 is configured through its display-driven menu system or Pantron WinISM software over RS232 rather than only through front DIP-switches.

Device Layout and Wiring Notes
- Front display combines channel status, gain control, and limit information for all four channels.
- RS232 communication is provided through the RJ-11 style COM socket shown on the device face.
- Connection diagram includes analog output, error output, limit output, and primary / secondary terminals.
- Two separate test inputs are shown in the wiring section for system checks.
The ISM-4000 is better suited to engineered systems that need richer diagnostics, PC integration, or coordinated multi-channel behaviour.
