ICL-6100

The ICL-6100 is a six-channel multiplex amplifier designed for dense optical sensing installations in difficult industrial environments. It combines manual or automatic operation, selectable light / dark switching, six short-circuit-proof PNP outputs, alarm output, analog output, and PC configuration through an RS232 interface. Multiple devices may be linked together to create a virtual light grid.

Device Layout and Wiring Notes

Connector X1 handles supply voltage, test input, primary / secondary, analog output, and alarm output.
Connector X2 carries switching outputs 1 through 6.
Connectors X4 and X5 wire transmitters 1-3 and 4-6 respectively.
Connectors X6 and X3 wire receivers 1-3 and 4-6 respectively.
Front-panel indicators include red / green status, green power with yellow system-stop indication, and six channel LEDs in yellow / red / green.
An operator button, DIP switch bank, and RJ45 COM connector support setup and diagnostics.
