FSR-085V Fork

The FSR-085V is a variable fork light barrier for detection of small parts, edges, and labels. Its fork width can be adjusted from 5 mm to 85 mm, allowing it to adapt to changing formats while using visible red transmit light for easier setup. The sensor supports manual and automatic operating modes, includes teach functions for setup flexibility, and uses automatic power adjustment with dirt compensation to maintain stable performance in harsh areas. Light or dark operation can be selected, and the switching output can be configured as PNP, NPN, or push-pull.

Series Overview

The FSI-085V belongs to Pantron’s variable fork light barrier family and is intended for applications where accurate optical detection is required in a compact, integrated form factor. The adjustable fork geometry makes it useful in converting, packaging, assembly, labeling, and parts-handling equipment where the target size or machine configuration may change over time.

Its modular design and onboard controls provide a practical combination of quick commissioning and deeper configurability. Two buttons and four status LEDs support local setup, while WINconnect software enables expanded programming, diagnostics, software adaptation, and updates from a PC.
